About the position

The Commercial Marketing Manager at Johnson & Johnson will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies for the Abiomed Team, focusing on cardiovascular care. This position is responsible for driving therapy adoption, enhancing brand reputation, and fostering relationships with healthcare providers. The role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing plans that impact patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop regional marketing strategy, planning & execution for launches, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Identify barriers and opportunities for therapy adoption and address them through marketing programs.
  • Introduce key messages, clinical evidence, and best practices to the field commercial organization.
  • Generate engagement opportunities for the field to enhance presence and relevance with healthcare providers.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in scientific literature and align with publication office strategy.
  • Create field communication & training strategies, including All Field Calls and Annual meeting production.
  • Lead the execution of omni-channel strategies including professional education and advertising.
  • Communicate and align with internal business partners such as Prof Ed and product management.
  • Build a deep understanding of target markets, technology trends, competitive dynamics, and unmet needs.
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders, industry partners, and customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience, ideally in the medical device market.
  • Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Marketing experience in the cardiology space is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to embody a Patients First culture with a positive attitude and collaboration.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to embrace new ideas and technologies.
  • Ability to simplify complex stories and create practical solutions.
  • Proven track record of leveraging analytics and customer insights to develop strategies.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
