About the position

The Commercial Marketing Manager at Johnson & Johnson will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies for the Abiomed Team, focusing on cardiovascular care. This position is responsible for driving therapy adoption through innovative marketing programs, enhancing field communication, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. The role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies that impact patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop regional marketing strategy, planning & execution for launches, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Identify barriers and opportunities for therapy adoption and address them through marketing programs.
  • Introduce key messages, clinical evidence, and best practices to the field commercial organization.
  • Generate engagement opportunities for the field to enhance presence and relevance with healthcare providers.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in scientific literature and align with publication office strategy.
  • Create field communication & training strategies, including All Field Calls and Annual meeting production.
  • Lead the execution of omni-channel strategies including professional education and advertising.
  • Communicate and align with internal business partners such as product management and upstream marketing.
  • Build a deep understanding of target markets, technology trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders and industry partners to enhance brand reputation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience, ideally in the medical device market.
  • Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Marketing experience in the cardiology space is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to simplify complex stories and create practical solutions.
  • Proven track record of leveraging analytics and customer insights to develop strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Experience in the medical device industry, particularly in cardiology.
  • Familiarity with omni-channel marketing strategies.
