About the position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator to join our team at Next Gen Services Ltd. This position is available for part-time, full-time, or contract work, and offers a competitive salary starting from $75,219 per year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for construction projects, which is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In this role, you will conduct thorough site visits to assess the scope of work, identify potential issues, and gather all necessary information to create a detailed and accurate estimate. You will analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine the cost of labor, materials, and equipment. Utilizing construction estimating software such as BlueBeam Revu, you will create and manage project estimates while collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates are accurate and meet the needs of the project. Additionally, you will develop and maintain a thorough understanding of construction management principles, including cost control and project management. You will prepare and submit bids to clients, negotiate contract terms, and ensure that the company remains profitable. Maintaining detailed records of all estimates, including documentation of the estimating process and any relevant communications with clients, is also a key responsibility. Continuous improvement of the estimating process by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as necessary is expected.

Requirements
- Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, with a strong background in construction estimating and project management.
- Familiarity with construction management software, including Bluebeam.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project managers.
- Experience with construction estimating software, such as BlueBeam Revu, is helpful.
- Physical ability to perform site visits and travel to construction sites as necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
