About The Position
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Mortgage Loan Administration Specialist in Commercial Capital Operations as part of the Wholesale Lending Operations division. In this role, you will participate in less complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements for timely processing of all incoming business lending within Transaction and Processing. You will review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables. Additionally, you will present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements for collateral and loan documents. You will collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal and external customers if applicable. Your responsibilities will include preparing loan documentation, coordinating loan closing, and initiating loan disbursements, as well as monitoring changing loan collateral pools for adherence to Credit Agreement, bank policy, and regulatory requirements. You will ensure all files and procedures follow government regulations and Bank policies, conduct periodic audits of loan files, and may provide training and guidance to less experienced specialists. You will work with customers, RM, internal and external partners in coordinating the closing of mid-size to major commercial real estate loans, handling flood and other collateral due diligence, and cataloguing documents for storage in the system of record.
