About the position

As a Commercial Operations Coordinator, Non-Bulk at Neste, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our renewable feedstock supply team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating operations and logistics related to renewable and petroleum product shipments. This includes overseeing daily operations of supply and sales cargo movements for both term and spot contracts, with a primary focus on independently managing cargo movements associated with physical oil contracts—from delivery planning to invoicing. You will also coordinate terminal operations and manage inventory, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with suppliers and vendors on various commercial operations, including delivery planning, scheduling, invoicing, payments, quality monitoring, and sustainability documentation. Additionally, you will coordinate commercial matters with internal stakeholders such as sales, legal, logistics, technical support, finance, and risk management. This role requires a strong understanding of the petroleum industry and the ability to navigate the complexities of international oil trade, making it essential for you to have a solid background in commercial cargo operations and various modes of transportation. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of supply and sales cargo movements for both term and spot contracts.
  • Independently coordinate cargo movements related to physical oil contracts, from delivery planning to invoicing.
  • Coordinate terminal operations and manage inventory.
  • Collaborate daily with suppliers and vendors on commercial operations, delivery planning, scheduling, invoicing, payments, quality monitoring, and sustainability documentation.
  • Coordinate commercial matters with internal stakeholders, including sales, legal, logistics, technical support, finance, and risk management.

Requirements

  • Degree in business or a related field, and/or several years of experience in a comparable position within the petroleum industry.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of the petroleum industry as a whole.
  • Experience in commercial cargo operations and various modes of transportation in international oil trade is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of renewable fuels and raw material supply is a plus.
  • Proficiency with IT systems, including ERP systems (especially SAP and terminal systems like TABS), Google Workspace, and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an asset.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a customer service mindset.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in daily operations is essential.
  • Ability to align behavior with company values and a strong understanding of common goals.
  • Stress-resilient personality with good problem-solving skills.
