About the position

The Commercial Operations Coordinator at Barco is responsible for maintaining relationships with assigned accounts, managing sales orders, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role serves as the initial point of contact for sales orders and requires proficiency in SAP and Salesforce to handle customer inquiries and order processing effectively. The coordinator will work closely with sales teams and cross-functional groups to resolve issues and promote Barco's business philosophy and core values.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships and favorable contacts with assigned accounts.
  • Set up new account information and resolve customer issues/problems.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for sales orders.
  • Prioritize assigned accounts while handling incoming calls.
  • Inform account owners of events related to their accounts.
  • Verify pricing accuracy and ensure daily invoicing is completed.
  • Compile information for accurate configurations and customer profiles in the ERP system.
  • Provide timely, professional, and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
  • Escalate customer satisfaction issues to management as needed.
  • Manage meetings with cross-functional groups to resolve customer satisfaction issues.
  • Communicate regularly with BDM sales teams regarding account issues and order status.

Requirements

  • BA Degree preferred or AA degree with 5+ years of experience in a sales department.
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated independent management of day-to-day activities.
  • Experience in a dynamic work environment requiring frequent strategy changes.
  • Experience evaluating the impact of business decisions.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce.
