About the position

The Commercial Operations Manager will design, build, and implement systems and organization needed to manage Commercial Operations for Sempra LNG projects. This role involves overseeing Cargo Scheduling and Logistics, managing LNG Supply Purchase Agreements, and ensuring operational efficiency across multiple projects. The position requires a dynamic approach to adapt to the 24/7 nature of LNG operations, ensuring that production targets and contractual obligations are met while maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement Commercial Operations systems, protocols, and procedures for projects under Development/Construction.
• Manage LNG contracts for sale and offtake, including feed gas nominations and LNG inventory.
• Support Sempra LNG's projects in Commercial Operations, collaborating with Legal, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering Teams.
• Manage marine/shipping activities related to LNG projects under development and operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, business administration, or related field required.
• 5-10 years of experience in the Energy Industry, specifically in Development and Management of Commercial Structures in the LNG and related industries required.
• Understanding of LNG Commercial Contracts, Structures, and Delivery Programs.
• Ability to develop and implement Systems and Procedures for a Commercial Operations Program.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
