About the position

This position is responsible for maintaining multiple aspects of FORTNA's internal sales and marketing database systems. The role supports internal commercial operations systems such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Marketo, and Clari, for FORTNA's US and International offices. Responsibilities include administrating Salesforce, project management, setting up and maintaining reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and Delivery teams to effectively integrate these tools into the business. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with multiple departments to realize the full capabilities of our sales and marketing tech stack. This includes conducting analysis and documentation of existing business processes and recommending process improvements. The role requires translating user requests from various departments into workable requirements, document specifications, and test cases. Day-to-day tasks will involve performing Salesforce administrative duties and addressing production support issues, such as user management, modifying data, and creating ad hoc reports. Additionally, the position involves developing training materials and conducting training sessions with business users to improve the adoption and efficient use of Salesforce.com across the enterprise. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining functional areas of data management, forecasting, accounts, leads, opportunities, dashboards, reports, and any other functional areas as required. Importing and exporting large volumes of data, evaluating and recommending App Exchange tools in Salesforce, and providing problem root cause analysis to resolve complex system problems as part of Tier 1 support are also key responsibilities. Creating processes to ensure data integrity is essential to the role.

Responsibilities

  • Working cross-functionally with multiple departments to realize the full capabilities of our sales and marketing tech stack.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, Computer Science or related field
  • 1+ years' experience with Salesforce.com or related CRM, specifically with experience in configuration, maintenance, and reporting
  • Proven experience in the fundamentals of relational databases
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and to react with clarity under pressure
  • Energetic self-starter with strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness in completing tasks, and attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel
