About the position
The Commercial Outside Sales Representative is responsible for selling programs and services to both current and prospective customers within an assigned territory. This role involves traveling to customer locations to assess needs, provide service quotes, and secure sales through direct contact. The representative will focus on generating new business while also cross-selling and upselling to existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Travel to potential customer properties to identify needs and provide cost estimates and bids for services.
- Sell programs and services to current and prospective customers through in-person contact.
- Secure sales and arrange service dates with customers.
- Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prospect and generate sales revenue by adding new program customers and cross-selling/up-selling current customers.
- Develop customized service solutions based on customer needs and Senske products and programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Experience in generating leads and closing sales.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
