About the position

The Sales Agent for Promotional Merchandise is responsible for driving sales and expanding the client base for a dynamic startup specializing in high-quality promotional products. This role involves engaging with potential clients, understanding their promotional needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their brand visibility. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and a passion for sales, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients, including corporate offices, event organizers, small businesses, and marketing agencies.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Understand product offerings and effectively communicate the benefits of promotional merchandise to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to better position products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales targets achieved.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and product launches.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales or business development is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to understanding client needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and other sales tools to manage client relationships and track sales activities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
