About the position

As a Commercial Outside Sales Representative at Beacon Building Products, you will play a crucial role in our mission to become the #1 commercial distributor in North America. In this role, you will be responsible for selling a comprehensive range of products from the industry's top manufacturers of exterior building envelope systems. You will drive profitable growth by achieving sales and margin budgets while prospecting and identifying new opportunities and customers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with your customer base and vendors will be key to your success. You will partner with branch operations to ensure an outstanding customer experience and become proficient with sales and productivity tools, including Salesforce. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to travel extensively within your assigned market, allowing you to connect with clients and expand your network. To excel in this position, you will need a proven track record in a sales or related leadership role, with familiarity in construction, building materials, or wholesale distribution being a plus. Knowledge of low slope roofing will also be beneficial. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, and proficiency in Spanish is a valuable asset. You should possess a desire to find creative solutions in a dynamic environment, along with mechanical and technical interests. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, coupled with strong analytical and organizational skills, will be crucial for your success in this role. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements
