About the position
As a Commercial Pest Control Technician at Rentokil North America, you will play a crucial role in providing pest control services to both residential and commercial clients. This position involves working independently in the field, building relationships with customers, and ensuring their properties are pest-free. You will receive comprehensive training and support to develop your skills and obtain necessary licenses, while also enjoying a range of benefits from day one of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide pest control services to residential and commercial clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Schedule and confirm appointments with clients.
- Assist with sales to current customers and expand services to new customers.
- Apply company products safely and effectively according to training and regulations.
- Maintain required licenses and certifications as mandated by local and federal regulations.
- Operate a company-provided vehicle and ensure it is kept clean and maintained.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills for mixing products and following instructions.
- Valid driver's license required.
