About the position

The Analyst - Commercial Planning & Sales Enablement position at Constellation Brands operates within the Beer Division's Sales Enablement Team. This role focuses on enhancing the execution of new item and go-to-market strategies by collaborating with various teams, including Sales Business Units, Operations, and Supply Chain. The analyst will advocate for effective innovation implementation, support new item forecasting, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the 'voice of the Field' by supporting the planning, development, implementation, and Sales engagement of new items and packaging changes.
  • Create sales estimates using analytical and drivers-based thinking to support conversations with Sales Team Leadership.
  • Coordinate sales inputs from National & Regional chain estimates during Bottom-up & Top-Down work for new items and packaging changes.
  • Support weekly meetings with Business Unit Operations Directors to review key items impacting new SKU forecasts.
  • Knowledgeable in Operational S&OE and S&OP-related processes linking to forecasting outputs for new items.
  • Support conversations within the SET and Annual Sales Planning process regarding new items' impact on overall sales forecasts.
  • Improve tools and processes used to forecast, track, and communicate the progress of all programs in flight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent job experience.
  • 1 to 3 years professional experience in progressively responsible roles.
  • Familiarity with CPG and/or 3-tier beverage alcohol industry sales experience preferred.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Sales Operations and Sales organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well on a team and perform duties consistent with high-quality standards.
  • Experience in process management and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel on an infrequent and ad hoc basis.
