About the position

The Commercial Plumber position involves the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in the commercial plumbing field and must be able to interpret mechanical drawings. This role requires a motivated self-starter who takes pride in their work and can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and layouts.
• Build plumbing systems including gas, water, sewer, and steam systems.
• Conduct inspections and general maintenance of all plumbing systems.

Requirements

• Possess associated licenses and/or certifications required by trade, such as a Journeyman's license for plumbers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, details, and job orders.
• Perform a variety of duties which may often change and repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
• Work within precise limits and standards of numerical accuracy.
• Ability to effectively plan, organize, delegate, and control the work process.
• Strong interpersonal and people skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
