The OneAmerica Commercial Mortgage Loan team provides commercial real estate financing in support of the businesses and companies of OneAmerica, including AUL and The State Life Insurance Company®. Our lending activity covers a broad array of property types, and currently we have loans in 41 states and 116 metropolitan areas. At year-end 2021, the company's mortgage loan holdings totaled approximately $4 billion. Our high standards of lending are reflected by delinquency and foreclosure ratios that have historically been far below industry averages. The Commercial Portfolio Analyst is a critical component to the success of our Commercial Mortgage Loan team. This individual is responsible for loan servicing of approximately 40% of OneAmerica's commercial mortgage portfolio and is on the Commercial Mortgage Lending team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as initial point of contact for approximately 40% of the loan portfolio.
  • Recognize, prevent and resolve the variety of issues that can occur throughout the term of each loan.
  • Complete annual loans ratings based on comprehensive analysis of financial statements, rent rolls, market data, inspection reports.
  • Review and approve Borrower requests such as lease requests, SNDAs, assumptions.
  • Understand and interpret mortgage documents and identify terms and conditions required to administer the appropriate procedures and follow-ups necessary to service each unique loan.
  • Check all Promissory Notes for Closings.
  • Input appraisals in mortgage system for Closings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of existing experience in commercial lending, mortgages, or title company preferred.
  • Excellent problem solver and collaboration skills.
  • Forward thinking.
  • Any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
