About the position

The Commercial Portfolio Manager at Zions Bank is responsible for managing and servicing commercial and agricultural loan portfolios throughout Eastern Idaho. This role emphasizes building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The position involves credit analysis, financial statement evaluation, and collaboration with Relationship Managers and Deal Teams to support loan underwriting and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service portfolios of agricultural and commercial loan relationships.
• Spread and analyze financial statements, addressing industry risks, collateral requirements, loan structuring and pricing, and credit analysis.
• Monitor credit performance and prepare loan presentations.
• Handle reporting on loans, including past dues, documentation and collateral exceptions, and financial performance updates.
• Maintain existing relationships and assist Relationship Managers and Deal Team with underwriting and ongoing management of the portfolio.
• Expand, build, and maintain relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of credit associated lending or 5 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of agriculture, commercial, and/or related lending.
• Knowledge of credit analysis, spreading and analyzing financial statements, credit scoring, and loan documentation.
• PC skills required.
• Experience with bank loan and deposit systems preferred.
