About the position

The Commercial Product Manager at Milliman IntelliScript plays a crucial role in shaping the strategy for the clinical trials product portfolio. This position involves collaboration with various teams to develop and maintain the product roadmap, gather client feedback, and ensure successful product launches. The role focuses on healthcare data-driven clinical trial SaaS products, leading market development, establishing performance metrics, and aligning the company around innovative products from inception to market strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of IntelliScript's business, clients, and market diversification strategy.
  • Leverage expertise in the clinical trials market to refine product strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and oversee the go-to-market strategy, including market entry, value creation, product expansion tactics, pricing, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer pain points to shape product features and enhancements.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure product alignment with market needs.
  • Identify and help quantify a repeatable value proposition for core customers and end users.
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure collaboration and product success.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators for market performance, customer adoption, and financial success.
  • Generate new product ideas using business development frameworks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a SaaS Commercial Product Manager, preferably in life sciences or healthcare-related software.
  • Undergraduate degree in business management, technology, data science, life sciences, healthcare, or similar field.
  • Deep understanding of the clinical trials process, regulatory requirements, and technological needs of trial sponsors and CROs.
  • Extensive experience in commercial product management, preferably within healthcare technology or SaaS sectors.
  • Strong cross-functional capabilities with experience managing diverse teams and complex projects.
  • Strategic vision with the ability to execute tactically.
  • Highly proficient in articulating product value and strategy to stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Jira or other relevant software.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data to improve outcomes or answer business questions.
  • Research and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced diploma or certification in product management or business management (e.g., AIPMM, Pragmatic Institute, MBA).
  • Experience with clinical informatics and knowledge of medical claims and electronic health records.
  • Experience presenting to C-suite decision-makers.
  • Published thought leadership articles or past speaking engagements.
