About the position

The Commercial Product Manager eCommerce at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for overseeing the commercial product ownership of various e-commerce platforms, including JJCC and distributor e-commerce sites. This role focuses on developing and managing the commercial vision and product roadmap to enhance e-commerce as a key engagement and transaction channel, supporting the overall customer experience and growth priorities of J&J MedTech. The position requires collaboration with regional business and technical product owners to implement enhancements and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and management of the JJMT Surgery Commercial vision and product roadmap for J&J Customer Connect (JJCC.com).
  • Define clear digital requirements and business rules to guide the development of new capabilities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Partner with other JJCC product owners to prioritize product enhancement backlog and manage timelines for all projects.
  • Own prioritization of user requirements and UAT for the website's critical path as well as all new features and functions.
  • Review and prioritize data insights and next best actions based on established KPIs, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Oversee Product Information Management (PIM) implementation and governance of all product data post-implementation.
  • Collaborate with external partners to design, launch, and manage enhanced e-commerce Customer Experience for key customer segments.
  • Partner with omnichannel counterparts to incorporate last mile data into customer journey for targeted execution.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in business, marketing, design, or related field is required.
  • 6-8 years of work/industry experience.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in digital product development, product management, marketing or a related field required.
  • Extensive experience in partnering with and leading a cross-functional team.
  • Proficient in managing dependencies and cultivating trust among stakeholders.
  • Nuanced understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem/operations and industry trends.
  • Outstanding understanding of planning, execution, and measurement of technology systems.
  • Strong understanding of user experience design and digital product lifecycle.
  • Ability to identify shortcomings in systems, processes, or tools and drive effective solutions.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to communicate directly with engineers and technical partners.

Nice-to-haves

  • Leadership Experience with Information Technology, Marketing and/or Sales organizations, and Product Management.
  • Prior experience with agile methodologies, design thinking.
  • Ability to execute A/B tests and other experiments to optimize website elements.
