As a Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager II, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Commercial & Specialty Banking business development efforts. This position involves identifying and engaging with prospects and referrals on both a national and regional basis, coordinating calling efforts with bank team partners. Your primary responsibility will be to manage profitable client relationships effectively, collaborating with various departments within the bank, including Credit, Loan Operations, and Executive Management. You will be tasked with cross-selling the bank's lending, depository, and Treasury Management products to both new and existing clients. Additionally, you will assist in reviewing and structuring large, complex transactions, presenting deals to credit officers, and negotiating credit terms and legal documentation with clients and referrals. In this role, you will also manage an existing portfolio of clients, monitoring their operating performance through the review of monthly and quarterly financial statements, completing renewals and increases, conducting annual reviews, and preparing watch loan reports. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with credit standards and maintaining a positive image for the bank within the community by participating in local business functions and establishing referral contacts. Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues is essential, as is treating everyone with respect and consideration, regardless of their status or position. All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements. This position requires a disciplined approach to work, with a focus on detailed, specialized tasks, and a commitment to completing work on time.
