About the position
The Commercial Reporting and Planning Analyst will support the commercial and sales functions at Markem-Imaje, focusing on reporting activities and financial planning. This role involves collaboration with various teams to provide insightful reporting and assist in the development of business plans, while also becoming a systems expert in tools like Salesforce and Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Support Financial Planning and Analyst Manager with Sales Commissions, Sales Forecasts, Budgets and financial month end duties across UK, Netherlands and Belgium
- Collaborate with Sales teams, Marketing, and functional managers to provide insightful reporting on departmental goals and strategies
- Support the creation of business plans for individual sales areas/persons, focusing on core customers, prospects, and vertical markets
- Become a 'Systems expert' and 'Change Agent' to encourage greater use of Sales Force and Power BI among Sales Managers and the community
Requirements
- Ideally degree educated with experience in a support role within a global/multinational business
- IT literate, with good Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Experience extracting data from SAP BW, Salesforce, and Power BI
- Willingness to develop and improve processes and reporting
- Ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload
- Strong interpersonal skills allied to numerical dexterity
- English as a strong language skill is mandatory
- Potential interest in studying for accountancy qualification
