About the position

The Commercial Roofing Install Lead at Bartlett Roofing is responsible for overseeing the successful installation of commercial roofing projects from start to finish. This role involves managing a crew of 3-5 team members on-site, coordinating material deliveries, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety protocols. The position requires a hands-on approach to lead various roofing projects, including re-roofs, new construction, repairs, and coatings, while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation of all commercial roofing products.
  • Manage an on-site crew of 3-5 team members.
  • Coordinate material deliveries to the job site.
  • Provide daily instructions to the crew on the tasks and installations scheduled.
  • Serve as the on-site safety representative, ensuring full compliance with safety protocols.
  • Lead roofing projects to completion, including re-roofs, new construction, repairs, and coatings.
  • Conduct inspections for maintenance and repair contracts, thoroughly documenting findings for company and client records.
  • Operate on-site equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, generators, etc.
  • Communicate job progress verbally with clients, keeping them informed throughout the project.
  • Update the CRM daily with job progress, including notes, updates, and photos.
  • Ensure all project specifications and standards are adhered to.
  • Participate in pre-walk and post-walk meetings with clients, project managers, or sales representatives.
  • Train new field employees on job responsibilities, Bartlett standards, and warranty requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in single-ply installation to NDL specs.
  • 5+ years of shingle installation experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Metal Roofing installation.
  • Experience in gutters, fascia, soffit, metal trim, framing, insulation and tapered plans.
  • Ability to read blueprints and create take-offs.
  • OSHA 30 Certified (preferred).
  • Forklift experience (preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, kneel, stand, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Must successfully complete a background check.
  • Must successfully complete a drug screening.
  • Must successfully complete a motor vehicle record screening.
