About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated professional National Account Manager to develop business with new clients in allocated territories. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategically delivered client-focused commercial roofing solutions based on customer needs. This is a remote position, but candidates must have current residency and be established in the greater Kansas City, MO area to service designated territory and clients. As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales and developing customer share relationships with new and existing national customers. Your responsibilities will include establishing new national client accounts in your designated territory, preparing and delivering sales proposals and presentations, and closing new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations. You will work closely with management and sales teams across multiple locations, liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs, and operate as a point of contact for your customers. Additionally, you will contribute to team efforts, ensure the timely delivery of roofing solutions according to customer objectives, identify and grow opportunities in collaboration with teams, and keep current on industry changes in products, services, and policies while evaluating results and competitive developments.

Responsibilities

  • Establish new national client accounts in designated territory
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Work closely in collaboration with Management and Sales in multiple locations
  • Liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs
  • Operate as a point of contact for your customers
  • Contribute to team effort and work as part of the team
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our roofing solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Identify and grow opportunities in collaboration with teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Keep current in industry changes in products, services, and policies and help evaluate results and competitive developments

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven sales results
  • Commercial Roofing Sales experience and knowledge of systems and products
  • National Account Management experience is preferred
  • Navigate software programs and accurately enter data in CRM
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, typing, and computer navigation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to national customers
  • Excellent listening and negotiation skills
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Stable work history
