About the position

The Commercial Roofing Project Manager at Nations Roof LLC is responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent commercial roofing projects from pre-construction to completion. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive quality, innovation, and safety on job sites while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities

• Plan, control, implement, and track multiple concurrent commercial roof projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and phasing plans to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee job costs through ECAC and WIP reviews, ensuring projects stay within budget.
• Control and optimize manpower allocation on multiple projects.
• Drive project activities to achieve successful outcomes by maintaining focus on timelines and budgets.
• Effectively read and perform takeoffs from plans and specifications for new and reroofing projects.
• Manage assigned projects by coordinating and supervising subcontractors on-site.
• Prioritize and manage multiple activities across various projects efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business throughout project management.
• Participate in pre-job meetings to ensure a seamless handoff from estimating to operations.
• Prepare purchase order requests for review.
• Maintain clear communication with project contacts regarding scheduling and updates.
• Ensure materials are received and accounted for at the project site.
• Coordinate inspections with customers and manufacturers, advising estimating upon project completion.
• Take overall responsibility for the quality of all projects, ensuring high standards are met.
• Assist the estimating team with job walks and small service projects as needed.
• Ensure adherence to the safety plan in line with company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in commercial roofing, with a background in Project Management and/or estimating.
• Strong ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.
• Familiarity with commercial/industrial system design, installation code compliance, and manufacturer requirements for warranties.
• Experience with project management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong time management abilities.
• Highly organized, enjoys outdoor work, and can lift and climb up to 30 feet or multiple flights of stairs.
• Collaborative and aligned with core values, capable of clearly explaining problems and solutions to customers.
• A valid driver's license with an insurable driving record is required.
