About the position

The Commercial Roofing Project Manager is responsible for overseeing roofing installation and renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and personnel while serving as the primary contact for clients and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans in coordination with clients and team members.
• Direct the activities of roofing crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient project progress.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any project-related concerns.
• Monitor work quality and compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
• Track project expenses, manage budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Quickly address issues that arise on the job site to minimize delays and keep the project on track.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in commercial roofing or construction.
• Familiarity with various commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, etc.) and installation techniques.
• Proficient in project management software (such as Procore or Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong ability to manage timelines, resources, and budgets for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.
