About the position
The Commercial Roofing Project Manager at North American Roofing is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and completion of major commercial roofing projects. This role involves ensuring projects are executed safely, profitably, and to high-quality standards while serving as the primary company representative to clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise all activities related to major building envelope projects.
- Ensure projects are completed in a quality, profitable, and safe manner.
- Act as the principal customer service representative post-project handoff.
- Collaborate with project administrators, CAD administrators, estimators, business development, project operations, accounting, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Meet and exceed contract commitments and customer expectations.
Requirements
- 5+ years in leadership/management roles.
- 5+ years of experience in the construction, roofing, or building envelope industry.
- Experience with multi-site management.
- Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish.
- Client-facing experience.
- Experience working with subcontractors.
- Project management experience including preconstruction, project execution, and project closeout.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in commercial roofing systems such as TPO, PVC, and EPDM.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions and unexpected obstacles.
