About the position

The Commercial Roofing Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial roofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing contract administration, system design, project scheduling, and client relations, while also ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. The Project Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, architects, and clients, to deliver successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise all activities related to contract administration and supervision.
  • Manage system design, submittal process, product procurement, and change orders.
  • Oversee project financial projections and schedule requirements.
  • Act as the principal customer service representative for general contractors and building owners.
  • Assist Sales and Estimating with responses to new project opportunities.
  • Participate in preconstruction meetings and ensure timely scheduling of project handoff meetings.
  • Review contracts for bid scope and budget consistency, confirming insurance and bond requirements.
  • Coordinate design documents and submittal needs as required by contract documents.
  • Implement all contractual requirements and provide correspondence for assigned projects.
  • Visit project sites for meetings, logistics direction, and quality control.
  • Manage project safety plans and enforce regulations.
  • Ensure all closeout requirements are provided to the client in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in commercial roofing installations.
  • Strong background in building envelope and construction knowledge.
  • Experience in Coatings, Single Ply, Hot, and Metal roofing systems.
  • OSHA 30 certified.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to travel within the region.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with LEED and applicable codes.
  • Knowledge of FM Assemblies and warrantable manufacturer assemblies.
