The Commercial Roofing Project Manager at Baker Roofing Company is responsible for overseeing high-profile commercial roofing projects from inception to completion. This role involves managing both office and field duties, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Manage high-profile commercial roofing projects from start to finish.
• Review contracts and proposals, ensuring all discrepancies are flagged before execution.
• Approve shop drawings and submittals, making recommendations for changes as necessary.
• Ensure all warranties, work permits, and job contracts are in place before work begins.
• Schedule and attend pre-planning sessions with General Contractors and clients.
• Maintain job site records, including daily reports and weather reports.
• Monitor job progress and provide input for production reports and job costs.
• Resolve technical and contractual issues that arise during projects.
• Prepare estimates for minor change orders and support estimators for major changes.
• Submit monthly billings based on contract requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; college preferred.
• 5-7 years of project management experience; 2-3 years in roofing preferred.
• Certifications: OSHA-30, First Aid/CPR, Blood borne pathogen training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong organizational and writing skills.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, specifically built-up/modified and single-ply.
