About the position

The Commercial Sales Account Manager at Bob's Discount Furniture is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer experience and business success in the B2B segment. This role focuses on meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals by effectively managing existing accounts and promoting the company's products and services. The position requires strong sales skills, the ability to identify leads, and a commitment to maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Upselling products and services.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Taking payments, scheduling deliveries, and troubleshooting any issues after delivery.
  • Collecting payments from accounts.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Home Furnishings industry is a plus.
  • Sales experience in furniture, white goods, consumer electronics, and/or construction materials is preferred.
  • Ability to maximize time spent in front of customers.
  • Ability to conduct proper research regarding client targets and plan each sales call.
  • Ability to work productively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain a professional approach at all times and adhere to company policies.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
