About the position

The Commercial Sales Coordinator at Batteries Plus plays a crucial role in supporting Commercial Sales customers, stores, the sales team, and the accounting department. This remote position is integral to the National Accounts Support team, focusing on customer service, order management, and sales support to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to customers on orders, invoices, returns, and credits.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all stores regarding Commercial Sales inquiries.
  • Train new store owners and associates on Commercial Sales procedures and processes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve Commercial Sales issues as necessary.
  • Manage daily KPI and follow up with stores to correct orders, invoices, deliveries, and shipping issues.
  • Process all central orders, returns, credits, and third-party invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work with stores and customers to identify and eliminate order processing inefficiencies.
  • Handle order problems and customer service requests within department guidelines.
  • Assist the Accounting team in resolving issues regarding invoice discrepancies and payment problems.
  • Maintain and update the issue list daily to ensure current information is available on open issues.
  • Prepare and update customer agreements, preferred vendor agreements, employee discount forms, and order forms for all new and existing customers.
  • Update contract pricing within the EC Admin application as needed, including managing new part additions or removals.
  • Add new customer locations and update existing customer locations when needed.
  • Prepare month-end sales reports for both customers and the Commercial Sales team as needed.
  • Assist the Sales team with any cross-referencing or customer inquiries.
  • Complete project work as assigned within expected time frames.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 1+ year of customer service or sales support experience.
  • Previous Batteries Plus retail, Product Support Center, or Order Management preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and capable of adapting learning to incorporate new technology.
  • Well organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to meet deadlines with multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to accurately perform alpha-numeric data entry.
