About the position

Stanley Steemer is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Commercial Sales Representative to enhance the growth and development of our commercial business lines. This role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring prompt payment for completed jobs, and supporting efforts to acquire new business contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional, ethical, and positive disposition as a primary representative of Stanley Steemer in the community.
  • Prospect for new business by joining and networking within various organizations (Chamber of Commerce, etc.).
  • Responsible for ongoing prospecting and warm-calling potential clients within targeted areas.
  • Design an action plan to successfully accomplish the new/current business plan.
  • Call and follow-up with the client after every commercial job and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Be present at the initial cleaning based on potential revenue.
  • Design and submit estimates to gain new profitable accounts.
  • Record all aspects of the sales process up to and including closing the sale.
  • Visit existing clients in between cleaning to maintain harmonious business relationships.
  • Solicit referrals from current client base.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable on a weekly basis to collect on past due accounts and ensure ongoing payment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of B2B experience in service-based sales organization preferred (HVAC experience a plus)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proven experience in commercial sales with a successful track record
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
