About the position

The Commercial Sales Representative at Vector Security, Inc. is responsible for engaging with commercial customers to promote and sell security products and services. This role involves prospecting new clients, maintaining relationships with existing accounts, and ensuring proper documentation for sales agreements. The position emphasizes proactive communication and continuous engagement with management to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively schedule sales appointments with current and prospective customers.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales opportunities.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge and educate customers about our products and services.
  • Generate and track new leads to continue expanding the reach of the business.
  • Identify ways to market products to new customers, including identifying new target market segments/opportunities.
  • Uphold relationships with clients to ensure they remain satisfied, that their questions are answered, and that their needs are met.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record
  • Product knowledge
  • Technologically adept (tablets, smart phones and computers)
  • Prospecting, Presentation, Negotiation, and Closing skills
  • Ability to meet sales goals
