About the position

The Commercial Security Access Control Project Manager at Novo Communications, LLC is responsible for installing and managing commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems. This role requires minimal supervision and involves training less experienced installers. The position emphasizes customer support, system testing, and maintaining inventory, while ensuring compliance with local and national codes.

Responsibilities

• Installs commercial alarm, CCTV, and Card Access systems.
• Provides training and assistance to less senior installers and trainees.
• Attends project management meetings.
• Performs customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Conducts system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities and documentation in a timely manner.
• Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support for efficient task execution.
• Completes other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial security systems.
• 2 years of Data Center experience.
• Mastery knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screening and background check.
• Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses required by national, state, and local codes.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience with Bosch, DMP, and Brivo systems is a plus.
