About The Position

Bryan Electric, Inc. is a family-oriented company established in 2009, specializing in commercial electrical construction and service. Our Roll-Out/Service Division focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial electrical systems. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Service Electrician to join our Service Department. The Service/Small Project Commercial Electrician will be responsible for servicing and installing electrical systems and equipment, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various systems in customer facilities. This role also involves performing small project electrical installations and requires rotation on-call for 24x7 service.

Requirements

Strong commercial electrical background (5 years or more preferred).
Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing test equipment.
Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code.
Ability to safely operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle.
Driver's License required.
Ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
Demonstrate necessary tablet and software skills.
Ability to manage customer and company specific information and documentation in an organized manner.
Ability to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
Effective and professional communicator, both written and verbally.
Able to fill out daily paperwork correctly.
Ability to be on twenty-four hour call on a rotating basis, as needed.
Physically able to perform the duties of the position.
Ability to pass a MVR screening.
Ability to pass a background screening.
Ability to pass a drug screening.
Georgia issued driver's license.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer electrical needs professionally.
Understand and implement OSHA requirements and company electric safety policies.
Accurately enter data into service management software via mobile tablet for work order tracking, documentation, and invoicing.
Provide required reports to management (Time Sheets, Employee Evaluations, Vehicle Inspections, etc.).
Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and determine appropriate repair actions.
Install systems in accordance with the NEC and applicable standards.
Communicate all issues clearly to customers and management.
Requisition necessary materials, tools, equipment, and manpower for work orders.
Manage resources effectively to control budgets.
Manage and maintain assigned service vehicle, tools, material inventory, and equipment.
Manage, train, and develop assigned manpower.
