About the position

The Commercial Voice Specialist at Conexon Connect is a pivotal role focused on ensuring customer satisfaction and managing the implementation and growth of business services for clients. This position involves acting as a customer advocate, facilitating problem resolution, and providing excellent customer service while developing relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations. The role requires a deep understanding of telecommunications products and services, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the customer advocate and ensure overall client satisfaction.
  • Manage the implementation, retention, and growth of assigned customer accounts.
  • Provide constant feedback to clients on savings opportunities and best practices.
  • Enter and manage service orders including new, upgrades, downgrades, and disconnections.
  • Resolve escalated orders and issues effectively.
  • Coordinate with management for timely installation of telecommunication systems.
  • Schedule and prepare for customer activations and disconnections.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain product information and track inventory of voice equipment.
  • Assist Sales Reps during the sales process and identify upselling opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2 years of telecommunication experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer support or client management is preferred.
  • Strong presentation and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications services and networks.
  • Confidence in delivering presentations in-person and via web meetings.
  • Understanding of pricing and benchmarking of telecom services.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software.

Nice-to-haves

  • College degree preferred.
  • Experience in telecom industry preferred.
