The Commercialization Coordinator for Away from Home-Sales Operations at The J. M. Smucker Company is a pivotal role that supports both internal sales teams and external customers. This position is based at the Orrville Corporate Offices and operates under a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 30% onsite presence, which translates to at least six days a month. The primary focus of this role is to manage product documentation, customer portal management, item and factory requests, quality assurance requests, and master product data. As the expert in product documentation, the coordinator will ensure that all necessary information is accurately shared and maintained across various platforms. In this role, the coordinator will collaborate with internal business partners and external customers to complete required product registrations and requests. This includes understanding and researching production specifications, packaging, ingredients, nutrition, facility documentation, and marketing claims. The coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining GS1 product data and images in Riversand/Syndigo, managing the loading, publishing, and certification of product data, and ensuring that nutritional and e-commerce content is accurate and up-to-date. Additionally, the coordinator will manage an asset database to ensure that updated assets are correctly populated in Riversand/Syndigo and customer data portals. This includes working closely with sales teams to maintain company data, product specifications, and product images in various customer portals such as Sysco, FoodLogiQ, TraQtion, Share-ify, ReposiTrak, and SafetyChain. The role also involves maintaining a repository of updated facility and product documentation and clearly defining the scope of responsibilities. The coordinator will assist the sales team by ensuring that broker teams have access to updated marketing assets and documentation. They will maintain relevant marketing, sales, and product data for JMS broker partners and function as a sales resource for ShowPad, assisting the marketing team with system and asset administration. Additional duties and projects may be assigned as needed, making this a dynamic and engaging position within the company.
