About the position

The Commissions/Payroll Analyst will support the implementation, administration, and analysis of the organization's variable compensation plans. This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate payments to team members based on sales performance, while also maintaining compliance with payroll, tax, and compensation regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate commissions based on the designed compensation plan and process through payroll to ensure timely and accurate payments to Reps.
  • Support in design, implementation, and administration of variable pay plans, including creating new plans or modifying existing ones.
  • Analyze and evaluate sales program effectiveness, recommending improvements based on data and market trends.
  • Maintain program data and metrics by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on program data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and manage compensation procedures and practices for maintaining compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
  • Create communication tools for the field to provide a comprehensive understanding of incentive plans and award programs.
  • Communicate with managers or team members to resolve questions or gather missing payroll-related information, including reconciling timecard entries and assisting with leave balance inquiries.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership on optimizing sales organization reporting to drive sales performance.
  • Review all booked revenue weekly and verify that booked sales reports are sent to the necessary parties.
  • Navigate HRIS to process commissions and compile commission data through Salesforce and Great Plains.
  • Participate in system implementations and process efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience processing payroll.
  • Experience with Salesforce and UKG preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skill set (formula creation, pivot tables, macros).
  • Ability to communicate using Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA and all other applicable standards.
