The Bloomingdale's Sales Professional plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by guiding and inspiring clients to embrace style as a source of creative energy. This position focuses on building long-term relationships with customers both in-store and online, delivering exceptional service through engaging conversations, and ensuring operational excellence in the sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and inspire customers to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Build and cultivate long-term client relationships both in-store and online.
  • Actively circulate the sales floor to determine customer needs.
  • Share the benefits of Bloomingdale's Loyalty programs.
  • Support the shopping experience from start to finish.
  • Leverage the fulfillment system to ensure operational excellence.
  • Maintain merchandise to sell standards and uphold floor and fitting room upkeep.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across functional lines.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to satisfy customer needs.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
