About the position

The Bloomingdale's Sales Professional plays a crucial role in guiding and inspiring customers to express their style creatively. This position focuses on building long-term client relationships both in-store and online, delivering exceptional customer experiences through engaging conversations and personalized service. Sales Professionals are responsible for driving sales, supporting the shopping experience, and ensuring operational excellence within the store.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, seamless, and fun experience for customers both in-store and online.
• Build and cultivate customer relationships to drive sales with in-store and online clients.
• Participate in merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
• Actively circulate the sales floor to determine customer needs and provide assistance.
• Share the benefits of Bloomingdale's Loyalty programs with customers.
• Leverage the fulfillment system and maintain merchandise to sell standards.
• Ensure floor and fitting room upkeep.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically to satisfy customer needs.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Proficiency with technology and point-of-sale systems.
