We are currently seeking a Commissioning and Startup Electrical Engineer to join our team. This position is a critical role within our organization, reporting directly to the Manager of Electrical Commissioning. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert with extensive experience in leading, developing, managing, and implementing electrical construction and commissioning personnel, tools, work processes, and strategies. The primary focus will be on delivering safe and quality installation, commissioning, and initial start-up of low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems for industrial capital projects. The candidate will work closely with commissioning teams, GEMTE electrical engineering, Operations electrical engineering, and construction teams to ensure successful execution of projects, particularly those with total installed costs exceeding $1 billion. In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance to identify and implement work processes, industry standards, training, and overall competency development of our electrical commissioning team within the GEMTE Americas Commissioning & Startup group. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial electrical engineering, along with construction and commissioning experience in sectors such as oil, gas, power, and chemicals.
