Commissions Analyst II

About the position

The Commissions Analyst II at Segra is responsible for processing monthly commission payouts for the sales organizations. This role involves ensuring that automated systems align with the compensation plan and company policies through analysis and testing. The analyst will maintain procedures for timely and accurate commission payments and coordinate with various departments to ensure adherence to the established payment schedule. Additionally, the position supports managers and directors in utilizing online systems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly commission payouts for the Segra sales organizations.
• Analyze and test automated systems output to ensure compliance with compensation plans and Segra policies.
• Maintain procedures for timely and accurate payment of commissions to employees and sales agents.
• Coordinate with Sales Organizations, Payroll, and Accounts Payable for monthly commission payments.
• Support managers and directors in the use of online systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commissions, accounting, and/or business.
• Prior experience in commissions is required.
• Strong Excel experience is essential.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2-5 years' experience in commissions, accounting, and/or business.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency with PC application software, especially Excel.
• Aptitude for learning other company software and mastering report writing and data mining tools.
• Technical understanding of commission systems.
