About the position

The Commissions Analyst position at Robert Half is a remote role focused on financial analysis and reporting within the healthcare industry. The primary responsibility is to analyze and calculate sales commissions accurately, ensuring timely and precise commission payouts. This long-term contract opportunity requires collaboration with sales and customer service teams, as well as maintaining commission statements and conducting impact analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and calculate sales commissions with precision and accuracy.
  • Manage sales data and reports using Salesforce and other data visualization tools.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate commission payouts.
  • Prepare and complete journal entries, particularly in relation to deferred commissions.
  • Handle full-cycle commission processing, including accrual, deferral, and calculations.
  • Maintain and update commission statements on Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Conduct true-up impact analysis and ask questions when needed.
  • Ensure all commission payouts are approved by relevant authorities.
  • Organize weekly meetings with financial controllers and directors to discuss and approve commission payouts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a Commissions Analyst role
  • Proficient in Commission Functions and Sales Analysis & Reporting
  • Experience with Salesforce Platform is a must
  • Familiarity with Deferred Compensation Plan management
  • Experience with Workday for financial management, human capital management, and planning
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
