About the position

The Communication Center Specialist I plays a vital role in the operations of Northwest Financial Corp. This position is primarily responsible for responding to external customer inquiries through various media, ensuring that customer relationships are developed and maintained in a professional manner. The specialist will assist customers by troubleshooting issues, recommending solutions, and identifying trends that may require escalation to management or referral to an expert. The role also involves performing file maintenance and serving as a backup for other positions as needed. The specialist is expected to enhance their career through work experience and continuing education while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation in examinations, audits, and third-party reviews is also a key responsibility, along with adherence to the Information Security Program to ensure a high level of risk and security awareness. The specialist will actively engage with the community to establish a positive image for the Bank and will be required to attend meetings as assigned. A thorough understanding of the Bank's products and services is essential to provide quality customer service and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One year of previous experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, mathematical, or diagram form.
