This role is based out of Las Vegas, NV, but will include approximately 10% travel to visit our suppliers and partners throughout the projects you will support. The project scope is centered around the full spectrum of Communication, including Radio and Backbone Communication, Wi-Fi on Board and in Stations, Various Detection Systems, CCTV & Access Control, and Phone systems for Operator and Maintenance. Our Project Managers lead and drive successful execution with entire profit & loss responsibility. Your success will be measured on schedule achievement, customer success, and financial results. You will maintain constant and clear communication with customers, key suppliers, outside contractors, management, and other partners. You will drive overall project planning and decide on the allocation of resources, build and maintain project timelines, and align landmarks between the customer and internal partners. Setting delivery expectations with the customer, raising potential delays early in the process, and identifying mitigation actions will be crucial. You will also drive schedule and deliverables with Engineering, Procurement, and Quality functions, initiate actions to minimize non-conformance costs, and seize opportunities to improve project financials. Negotiating contract change orders and claims while aligning with PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines will be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive successful execution of projects with full profit & loss responsibility.
  • Maintain constant and clear communication with customers, suppliers, contractors, and management.
  • Drive overall project planning and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain project timelines and align landmarks between customers and internal partners.
  • Set delivery expectations with customers and raise potential delays early in the process.
  • Drive schedule and deliverables with Engineering, Procurement, and Quality functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical) or industrial engineering.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years in a related position.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification with a solid understanding of project management processes & tools.
  • Experience in the communication ecosystem related to contractors, suppliers, and customers.
  • Extensive experience in managing sub-contractors and related contract management.
  • Extensive experience in close collaboration with international teams and various departments.
