About the position

The Communications and Business Development Manager at nARCHITECTS is a dual-role position responsible for leading business development initiatives and managing marketing efforts. This role involves identifying new work opportunities, connecting with potential clients, and crafting the firm's voice in media and publications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a creative and dynamic office environment, contributing to the firm's growth and visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new business outreach and propose new initiatives to nurture client relationships.
  • Represent the firm at events and conferences to develop market awareness.
  • Work with Partners and senior staff to design, write, and coordinate proposals, RFQs, and RFPs.
  • Assist in assembling consultant teams for new opportunities.
  • Update overall office project schedules as needed.
  • Respond to press inquiries and prepare press releases, newsletters, and award submissions.
  • Coordinate potential or current project presentations and submission books with Partners and senior staff.
  • Assist in preparing for lectures and conferences with the Partners.
  • Update firm portfolios, profiles, bios, and staff resumes.
  • Oversee and update the firm's website, web presence, and social media.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in a design, art, or communications-related discipline.
  • Prior experience in architecture/planning marketing and/or business development.
  • Excellent writing skills and graphic design abilities.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with project management software is a plus.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, communication, and detailed organizational skills.
  • Dependability, professionalism, and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Proficient English speaker and eligible to work in the U.S. immediately.
