About the position

The Engineering Entrepreneurship Program at Villanova University is seeking a Communications and Digital Marketing Assistant to support its communication efforts. This role involves creating promotional materials, managing social media, and assisting with outreach events, providing students with hands-on experience in marketing and communications within an academic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Create and edit promotional materials such as flyers, posters, newsletters, podcasts, and videos for program events and activities.
  • Manage social media accounts to enhance program visibility and engagement.
  • Staff in-person outreach events to promote the Engineering Entrepreneurship Program.
  • Assist with various other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Creativity and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of Office 360 applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with different social media platforms.
  • Experience with graphic design, audio/video editing, and web development tools.
