About the position

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Tri-Faith Initiative is responsible for enhancing the organization's online and public presence. This role involves managing social media channels, improving website engagement, and executing marketing strategies to foster community engagement and awareness. The coordinator serves as a frontline representative of Tri-Faith's brand, ensuring that all public-facing content aligns with the organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy, including audience analysis.
  • Design, post, and manage content across Tri-Faith's social media platforms.
  • Develop, execute, and track social media campaigns to support Tri-Faith's programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor and interact with social media audiences to build community and brand loyalty.
  • Track and analyze engagement, conversion rates, and reach across social media and digital marketing channels.
  • Regularly update the Tri-Faith website with new content to ensure relevance and accessibility.
  • Implement best practices for SEO and use web analytics to monitor site traffic.
  • Design and distribute newsletters and campaign updates through platforms like Mailchimp.
  • Draft and edit press releases, blog posts, and other communications to maintain a consistent voice.
  • Ensure all content aligns with Tri-Faith's brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with media outlets and vendors to maximize outreach efforts.
  • Support marketing efforts for Tri-Faith events to promote attendance and engagement.
  • Assist in facilitating communication between Tri-Faith and partner organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in communications and marketing management.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Canva, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with WordPress and social media management tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and SEO tools.
  • Experience in copywriting and editing for various platforms.
