About the position

The Communications and Public Relations Manager for the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation is responsible for leading the creation and execution of internal and external communications strategies. This role involves managing the Foundation's communications, public relations, and marketing efforts to enhance brand recognition and drive engagement with its mission. The manager will collaborate with various teams and partners to support fundraising activities, develop communication materials, and oversee social media channels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of internal and external communications including annual reports and newsletters.
  • Establish communications strategies for the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation.
  • Manage the Foundation website and ensure content is current and relevant.
  • Support in-store campaigns with comprehensive communications plans.
  • Work closely with internal teams and non-profit partners on communication efforts.
  • Oversee internal meeting content to facilitate effective communication.
  • Lead video development for events and campaigns.
  • Organize information flow to Regional Chapters and volunteers.
  • Lead the Regional Chapter grantmaking communications strategy.
  • Support the Foundation's national PR strategy and collaborate with PR agencies.
  • Drive thought leadership and brand recognition for the Foundation.
  • Create PR toolkits for local agency execution of marketing programs.
  • Develop creative communications strategies for national and regional programs.
  • Prepare meeting materials for agencies and marketing briefings.
  • Identify PR and marketing opportunities for visibility and recognition.
  • Collaborate with the Dunkin' brand marketing team on major partnerships.
  • Manage social media channels including strategy and calendar development.
  • Co-lead the annual Foundation calendar planning and support board communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant experience strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
  • Creative writing and transcribing skills
  • Solid project management skills
  • Working knowledge of social media best practices
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and resolve conflicts
  • Strong relationship management and organizational skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in nonprofit communications
