About the position

Cross City Church is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Communications Assistant & Project Coordinator at our Euless campus. This full-time position is under the direction and oversight of our Executive Pastor of Communications. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support and project management for the Communications Department, playing a vital role in helping us fulfill our mission to lead all people to follow Jesus. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing projects, tasks, and information within the Communications Department. You will provide excellent service to our ministries and members, ensuring that all communications are clear, effective, and aligned with our church's mission and values. As the general database administrator, you will maintain accurate data, provide training, and monitor processes to ensure smooth execution. Additionally, you will coordinate various Communication and IT projects, identifying the necessary time and resources to achieve our goals. Your responsibilities will also include managing department finances and scheduling, assisting the Executive Pastor of Communications with general operations, and performing other duties as assigned. We are looking for someone who not only has the required skills but also shares our passion for ministry and aligns with our guiding principles of collaboration, relational engagement, excellence, alignment, transparency, empowerment, and dependence on Christ.

Responsibilities

  • Organize projects, tasks, and information within the Communication Department
  • Provide excellent service to our ministries and members
  • Serve as the general database administrator, maintaining accurate data and providing training
  • Coordinate Communication and IT projects, identifying time and resources needed
  • Manage department finances and scheduling
  • Assist the Executive Pastor of Communications with general operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Have a personal, growing relationship with Christ
  • Passion for God and personal consistent practice of spiritual disciplines
  • Alignment with Cross City's beliefs, as outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message (2000)
  • Previous employment in an administrative assistant or project coordinator role
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Data management experience preferred, with training available
  • Ability to communicate well with internal team members and external partners
