About the position

We are looking for a talented Communications Coordinator to join our team specializing in Communications for our Cummins Inc. facility in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Execute and Support Marketing Initiatives: Driving selected marketing projects ensures the Marketing team stays on track and meets its goals. Contribute to Marketing Activities: Your involvement in creating publications and organizing events will help deliver compelling marketing campaigns. Coordinate Marketing Communication Projects: By managing various projects, you will ensure smooth and timely communication across all marketing efforts. Draft and Compile Content: Your ability to draft and gather content will enhance the quality and consistency of marketing communications. Collaborate Across Teams: Working with different teams will foster a cohesive approach to executing marketing campaigns and tactics. Adhere to Brand Standards: By learning and following Cummins' brand guidelines, you'll maintain brand integrity and consistency in all marketing materials. Support Trade Shows and Virtual Events: Your role in planning and executing events will create memorable experiences and strengthen connections to the Cummins brand. Optimize Marketing Efforts: Applying your knowledge of digital marketing tools and trends will help optimize campaigns and improve their effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Some understanding of digital marketing tools.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong copywriting/writing skills highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrates eagerness to learn and grow.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong sense for branding and graphic design (preferred but not required).
  • Curiosity, persistence, and interest in/ability to navigate a complex business and highly matrixed organization.
