About the position

The Communications Manager, Assistant Director at EY will play a crucial role in developing and implementing internal communications and engagement strategies for the Government & Public Sector Industry Group. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills to manage complex communication projects, enhance market presence, and support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and manage scope and schedule for moderate to complex communications projects for internal audiences.
• Plan and assign resources to associated tasks and deliverables as appropriate and manage tasks based on project plans.
• Collaborate with the GPS Communications Leader to develop plans designed to effectively communicate strategic objectives and initiatives.
• Anticipate potential objections and leverage experience, insight, and creativity to influence others to consider innovative solutions.
• Anticipate ramifications of decisions and issues to project stakeholders and present alternatives when obstacles arise.

Requirements

• Eight-plus years of communications, branding, or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated project management and internal communications experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, as well as listening and interpretation skills.
• Ability to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise, and easily digestible manner for broad audiences.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, including the development of others.
• Strong project and time management skills.
